Playlist for the End of the World

Choreographic project for young dancers by Elisa Pagani (Compagnia DNA), with the collaboration of OPUS Ballet directed by Rosanna Brocanello. The one-week workshop for young contemporary dancers is not only training for the young generation, but also an opportunity for the museum public to see the creative process in its making. A figure, like Dante's Virgil, accompanies the public through the exhibition halls, leading them through the installations and scenic actions. The resulting performance is a collection of images, emotions, suggestions related to the theme of the end of the world, not in its universal sense, but in the intimate one, of human paths in their infinite folds and repercussions. After all, the history of the world is also our personal history. It exists in the faults of the earth's crust, in cosmic cycles, in the genetic evolution of a fetus, in the chemistry that keeps us alive, and is confused with the movements that our soul experiences daily from birth to death.
